I found this penny in my yard and after my usual look over with my glasses on, lol, I noticed that "in god" was printed on the top left side on the wrong side of the penny. Opinions please, I'm so excited that I may have finally found my first error coin.

Maybe glue. you can try acetone to see if it comes off

I've tried acetone, it's still there

Looks like it's some kind of clear goo of some sort. The word IN GOD is backwards which is from another coin. Transferred in the (goo). Acetone probably take care of it.
Acetone won't remove some.

It does look like something (on) the coin like clear epoxy and acetone will not remove that.

I agree, some clear substance on the surface of this coin. Post mint damage. Throw it back into your yard or spend it. Keep searching!
