I have two of what I call major greasers and this 1944 S LWC is one of them. It's weight is 3.08 grams. Pretty cool find.

Awesome find! This is definitely a monster Greaser. I can't help but notice your coin is a 1944-S LWC, not a 45-S. Lol sorry I like to point out errors.

I'm going to say this one's damage. The rim at the bottom of the reverse indicates to me that it's damage because it also took some hits during whatever smashed this. Everything just looks too Over flattened to me, including the reverse rims. Hopefully some others will chime in too.

Maybe check the diameter. It does look a lot like damage, but to do that while keeping the obverse intact it would have to have been set on leather or something. Could have expanded the coin a bit like a Texas Cent if that's what happened.

This is a damaged coin as evidenced by the many rim bumps and nicks.

Diameter is correct, weight is 3.08 grams and for a couple of dings on the rim it is virtually intact.
