It's Zoell R2b and an early strike, unless the removal of the crud/verdigris shows that the die crack that starts at the R in Regina travels back through the end of Gratia and moving along shows up more. The D/C got worse as more strikes were made and was one of the sure markers for that DP9. It's still one of the neatest shaped D/C's in all of the Vicky cents and is the Obv for more than 1 variety. It travels down and then splits 2 ways CW and CCW through Regina and Gratia.. Your coin was known for years by the Zoell R2b, until we did the 2011 Charlton Vicky variety finally got Charlton to list new IDs for 1859 DP3, DP4 and then DP5 a year later to rename it with Charlton #'s. I'd say VF-30 with environmental damage.

And here are a couple mag'd photos of the R in Regina and how the D/C travels from the denticle to the "R" where it splits and goes all the way to the T in Gratia and the N in Regina

Very nice Jim. The bath did it lots of good. I don't speak German, so what did you bathe it in? Is it like acetone?

Bill, I bought a jar of this years ago at a Vancouver coin show its called what I wrote I didn't know what language it was thank you.

Contents are 5% anionic serfactants, alcohol, perfume, lilial, linalool, hexyl cinnamaldehyde.

I'm not sure what it all is Bill but it seems to work and the grading companies don't mention they have been altered in any way.
