The coin came back with a print out . The coin is an inverted A/v also doubling on most letters and the 50. I will follow up with them when Cmas is over but they forgot to include inverted A/v in the sealed coin note . Also ,, should they not note the doubles ?
Thanks

The certification number matches the paper where it says inverted a/v, would that be there way of classifying the variety? I have never had a coin graded but I see the number on the certificate matches the number lined up with the a/v

Looks like a clerical error.
Did you phone them?
As for the doubling they will only attribute known varieties.

It's happened to me before; they're really good about fixing things like that.

As DBM mentioned, you have to ask them add comments on things like doubling

When I call ICCS to discuss details to be noted in your opinion other than inverted a/v what should be included as well?

The doubling on the coin is machine/mechanical doubling (MD) and I've never seen that on any TPG holder, since it's not a "true" variety. Nice coin!

TPG's certainly comment on things like doubling.

The inverted AV is the only important thing you need on the label, this sets the coin from the rest and adds all it"s value, minor doubling on the label the vast majority of collectors do not care.

It's just silly for them to note any doubling other than doubled dies or repunched features.
IMO I would free two of johnnysprawl's coins from their holders, these kind of comments are granted to the submitters to increase business. It smacks of pandering and amateurism and in the broader marketplace actually devalues the coin.
