This coin looks to me to possibly be a double die reverse. And you can see the marker on the 'E' in state. I would love to hear any thoughts, thank you.

Sorry but I see nothing there that would indicate DDR
That "marker" on the E is just damage.

Not seeing any doubling on your coin. But where did you get the picture of the second coin? is that one yours as well, was it published or is it the same coin with different lighting?

Without the hud doubling, a marker means nothing. Markers confirm a die state of a variety. To look for markers first is a waste of time? Variety first, markers to confirm die state.
