I've had this 1989 coin for a while just found it in my stash of pennies I guess it accidentally got put in it looks like something has been pressed into the die I'm not sure if it's a piece of thread or metal can someone explain to me thank you CCF

Looks like it has been Struck Through a piece of thread.
A genuine error.

I agree with JimmyD.

And I'll simply add that it's incuse on the coin not pressed into the die. If it were pressed into the die it would be raised on the coin.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.

Is that a linear plating bubble on the reverse through united?

Definitely looks like a struck through thread to me on the obverse as well.

Me I do not see incuse except the small yellow circle which is crack and big yellow circle where was suppose to be an coat line is missing material (probably the time preservation)
