I'm fairly new to the world of coins. Started my collection about a year ago. I mostly collect Lincoln Cents. I received an Amazon gift card for Christmas. My question is which book should I get on collecting Lincoln Cents?

I would recommend David Bowers' "A Guide Book of Lincoln Cents" (3rd Edition).

I am looking at that. I know there are like 3 books that are usually at the top of the list. I guess my question is more which of the three should I start with? I think they are the complete guide to Lincoln Cents, and the Lincoln Cent encyclopedia.

IMHO, the one I listed is the best, especially to start. However I don't have nearly as much experience as many of the folks around here, so I'll let someone else chip in.

I suggest starting with the Bowers Guide--digest it first--then decide which way forward after that.
