Good evening everyone!

I have switched back to using my phone to take pictures of coins for grading, since my phone takes better photos than my coin scope. I think this coin is in MS67 condition, because of a few blemishes on the surface of the obverse. What do you all think?

Agree 66RD technically, but that carbon spot kills it.

the spot kills any value it has. regardless of the grade, I can't see anyone buying it over a spot free example.

@silverwolf I don't intend to sell it, so that works out just fine for me! I put things here in the grading section to see how my grading skills stack up to the community here, and use the results to improve, or when I'm totally stumped from lack of experience. The value of the coins mean very little to me, I'm more interested in sharpening the skills associated with collecting coins.

This particular 1996 D is better than any I had in my collection previous, so I am going to keep this one.

If anything, it'll be a good hole filler until something better comes along.
