Purchased in England in a bulk lot. Possibly a hop token? Assumed to be lead, but could be pewter, or even tin.

The rim slopes slightly inward towards the picture side. The raised central dot seems incongruous (connection point?).

I'd welcome any thoughts on this item.

Could be an old lead bale seal tag.
