This tiny item is around 1cm (1/2") in diameter, weighing 0.5g (0.017 oz). The central device on one side is the Globus Cruciger (The orb of the holy Roman empire). The 3 in the orb is probably the denomination (3 somethings or 1/3 of something). The letters around it look like " G O ", both in the image and in reality.

The other side has a shield, over which the date ".16.Z1." (16Z1 = 1621) is visible.
The twofold shield is split into left and right panels. The left area comprises 9 horizontal bars (four raised and 5 sunken bars). The bars are more clearly evident in the third image , which was taken at an angle. The right hand panel isn't clear but may be good enough to confirm identification.

Any thoughts on what this coin is would be gratefully received.
Thanks!

I know that Mansfeld was suggested in another place where you asked.

For me, horizontal bars on the left always suggests the Arpad arms of Hungary. I'm not sure if there were Hungarian (or nearby, like Transylvania) coins in this denomination at that time.
And when my mind went in that direction, I thought I might be seeing those Bathory family teeth coming from the right side in the right half of the shield, but this is probably just my imagination.

Thanks for your comments. Mansfeld seems like a good likeness until you see the image taken at an angle. There are bars in the first and fourth quarters of the Mansfeld arms: but my coin has twofold arms with four equal bars on the left.

The Hungary suggestion is interesting, particularly the idea of associated states. The recent Hungarian arms were being used on Transylvanian coins: e.g. on the coin of 16Z1 in the link, to the left of the bust.
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces72321.html But there's no sign of the orb on Transylvanian coins of the 1620s. The globus cruciger signifies that my coin was from the holy Roman Empire. I googled and came across the Quaternion Eagle, which displays the arms of all constituent states of the holy Roman empire.

The'Maidburg'arms seem the most promising: but I can't find any evidence of coin issuing by Maidburg. Maidburg seems to have been Magdeburg. Unfortunately, none of the Magdeburg issues seem similar. Nearby Anhalt has identical arms: but with the bars on the right and an open crown diagonally passing across the bars. Intriguingly Krause advises that the two sides of the shield were reversed on early issues and the open crown omitted. However, there are no images and no 'GO' initials.

I'm still puzzled: but thanks for your helpful suggestion.
