luckynap New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 01/25/2009 1:35 pm Hi I'm new to this site and have had a coin in my possession for some time. I cant seam to get any information on it online or other wise. All I know is that it is a 5 forint and they only made them in silver but mine is gold. Can any one please help with information would greatly appreciate it. Its a 5 forint dated 1947 on the back and has 1802-1894 on the front also says Kossuth. Report this Post to the Staff

The only 5 Forint issued in 1947 from Hungary is KM# 534a, issued in silver only. It could be that the previous owner may have had it as a lucky piece and had it gold plated.
