New to coin collecting. Found this 2008 p dime with some odd characteristics. I'm thinking possibly broad struck? Broken die? Or ran over by a cement roller.. either way it's kind of neat. If it is a mint error is this something worth getting graded?

I apologize for the picture quality. A camera phone is the only camera I own.

To me it just looks like an overly abused dime. But what do I know. We'll see what everyone else says.

Hahaha you're right. The thing is it isn't scratched up. That's what keeps me wondering

The fact that it is out of round tells you that it is damage.
Spend it.

Looks to me like post-strike damage. Didn't leave the striking chamber in that condition.
