I'm Curious as to why a few emojis were deleted from the list. I really like that one that was laughing on its back

I'm trying to make them more uniform and less circusy little by little. Some will be replaced over time. Right now we have emojis from like 15 different emoji sets and its been driving me nuts for years.

Most of them were pretty darn uniform, especially the main smiley set (smile, frown, grin, and so on). And the set that's apparently replacing them is seriously ugly.

Very much - can't post the frowny one because apparently that's been changed! I wonder if they're changed retroactively on the old posts...

Not really? Mostly just... surprised why you tried to go for "uniformity" by changing part of the largest uniform set we had, while leaving most of the others alone. Also, yeah, they were rather ugly, and I'm sufficiently neurodivergent that I tend to get emotional at that kind of thing.

That said for changing them back

I see that and (and a few others?) are still in the changed version, though at least they aren't actually quite as ugly as some of the others.

[EDIT: fixed quote]
[EDIT 2: we'll probably need some kind of vote/poll for that, I don't want everything to change - in any direction - only because of me, for all I know there were a dozen others who liked it...]

Thanks for putting some of them back Bobbie, I didn't intend to stir up this whirlwind here but it sure was fun watching the effects of it
