Dear friends,
I want to share the latest purchases of the S. Severus and Clodius Albinus denarius Rome Mint
Both denarius are quite worn but the coins are very rare even in this state.

Very nice pick up indeed. Not sure how rare the Septimius Severus is, but I know the Clodius Albinus is. Still waiting for a good deal for a Clodius, mine turned out to be a fake.

The Septimius Severus is indeed quite a scarce coin. Curis Clay was only aware of 8 examples from two reverse dies when I brought this one to his attention when I bought it a few years back. It is a nice find in any condition.
