Hopefully our Hungary expert will come on and give you the answer (my guess: mintmaster's initials or sigla).

That would be the mint mark. I looked through the list of mint marks and there is one for A-o but there is that cross that looks like a plus sign above the o.

I agree with @eddiediz on this, but note that Huszar also lists a A-γ version where the lower half of the gamma is a loop. I'm not 100% sure which one you've got there.


Either way, I'd attribute this as Huszar 568 and Frynas H.27.14
