panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18635 Posts	Posted 01/22/2022 1:01 pm breast is a little week for this year. since its in the case its difficult to tell if the luster is still there across the cheek. it looks like most if not all the scratches are on the holder. obverse looks PL but not sure of the reverse. without taking it out of that holder it could be anywhere from MS63 to MS65. best guess MS64 Report this Post to the Staff

My only add is the old adage "buy the coin and not the slab" really applies to slabbed 1882-S dollars claiming to be PL/DMPL. I've seen quite a few slabbed as PL especially that fall short.
