The reverse looks to fall short from this image. 1882-s has no where near the population of PL and DMPL examples compared to previous years. Finding one can be tough. I'm still looking for the right one and there hasn't been many to choose from over the years.

breast is a little week for this year. since its in the case its difficult to tell if the luster is still there across the cheek. it looks like most if not all the scratches are on the holder. obverse looks PL but not sure of the reverse. without taking it out of that holder it could be anywhere from MS63 to MS65. best guess MS64

My only add is the old adage "buy the coin and not the slab" really applies to slabbed 1882-S dollars claiming to be PL/DMPL. I've seen quite a few slabbed as PL especially that fall short.

MS64, MS65 won't surprise. I agree the reverse may keep it from PL, certainly not DMPL
