Appears the nose took a circulation hit. The 'wavy' features may show the edges of a liquid-caused stain. What does the reverse look like? Others will be a long to comment.

I don't have a picture of the back at this moment and I don't think it's a stain it's slightly indented.

when you get a chance, can you also get a picture with the lighting coming in from an angle (only one light source) so we can get some depth of the surface?

Weight? Might have had an acidic liquid on it at one point. My guess is PMD.
