Is not a big deal but it is. On the number they strike we have a 1 chance in 10K to find.

Correct. Feeder Finger Damage. This is before the polishing that they use to remove the FFD. But when it happens, then that area will be flat looking:

Note the damage/polishing also affect of the obverse Die as well.
