As you will be aware, the Forum rules state that you must have at least 250 posts and have been a member for at least 90 days to sell items.

However, if you'd like to post photos of some of your coins in the appropriate section on the Forum, other members will happily appraise them and give their opinions (best to post clear photos of both sides of one coin per post rather than post a photo of 20 different coins).

The best place to sell coins really depends on what they are. If you're talking about common pocket change such as Beatrix Potter 50p coins, then ebay is as good as anywhere - check the 'sold' prices so you can see what similar coins actually sold for, as some eBayers set unrealistically high prices which are never achieved. If, on the other hand, you're fortunate enough to have inherited or otherwise acquired some really rare and ususual coins, you might be better off going straight to one of the major auction houses in London. And if you have a local coin shop, you can always ask the dealer if he or she is interested in buying your coins: for certain types of coins, like pre-1947 British silver, there is a constant demand and most coin dealers will pay a fair price. On the other hand, they are unlikely to be interested in recent pocket change or in common foreign coins such as pre-Euro Spanish pesetas or French francs.
