A great article in the latest CNJ from a friend of ours on here and a personal friend as well. The article discusses Jack Griffin's die clash marks/varieties on the 1881's. A well-written and excellent article on some of the things that many of us specialized in for years. I was lucky enough to see the rough (almost finished) draft/vet of the article and was just WAITING for it to appear here. Great work Dan, and hope to see you up here in the T.O. area for, hopefully, a show or two later in the year.

If you like Vicky large cent varieties, just read the article and see how far into the weeds that your mind will take you, and learning great new things along the way.

Just got my journal today, haven't opened it yet. I'll have to give it a good read tomorrow on the bus to work

Thanks Bill, appreciate the kind words. It was a fun article to write. If I get back up that way this year, we'll catch up for sure.

It's a great article! One that opened my eyes as to how helpful die clashes can be in identifying specific dies.
