Hello, I have a question about custom CAPS albums. How come I can barely add any text? It can't fit "2000-S Virginia Proof", let alone any text that's longer. Is there a way to have more text, or are there any other options I should explore?

I would ask that question to the people making the pages for the CAPS albums. They were responsive. I wanted some blank pages for half dollars. They weren't shown on the website but they told me how to get them. To be honest, I was OK with just hand writing in what they were. Especially with the modern Kennedys because you never know when the mint is going to make a special coin. But I can understand why you may want it to look nicer.

The text length is limited by the software so that the labels of adjacent coins always maintain clear separation.

FWIW: "2000-S Virginia PRF" and "2000-S Virginia PR" fit fine, as does "2000S Virginia Proof".

You could always use the two-letter state abbreviations implemented by the Postal Service to help with the character limits - "2000-S VA Proof" for example.

Why do you need a label that has the same info as the coin?

Why not just use the text block to describe attributes of the coin that are not easily discernable

This is why I do not mind not having labels on the blank pages in my custom Dansco albums. Date and mint mark are right there on the coin!

A great idea.
