Okay my Bie enthusiasts, I can find the BIE but can't find the BIE if you know what I mean. Oh! Louis this is time consuming. I will get in the mail next week. LOL

Check for a match for that mintmark location. That might help to identify it is was listed earlier/later than your coin.

Makes sense to me thanks coop. If I was collecting the darn things, I would investigate much better. I figured okay BIE cent go to the BIE site click on the year and there it is. I spend 15 minutes trying to find the darn thing. What you said earlier about a Chip expanding (for lack of a better way to say it) would change the shape of the BIE. I have learned a lot from you guys. I really want you to know how much it's appreciated. I also am a teacher and always willing to share my area of expertise with anyone who asks. Why know all this stuff if not to educate others (my philosophy anyway). It makes me feel better when someone tells me they appreciate the help I give them. So coop you are the wise man on the block and to share with me means a lot. And again, I appreciate you.
