Error On 1878-S Morgan?

Hi, I've got this 1878s Morgan that seems to be missing some feather detail on the wing. Dissimilar to all my other Morgan's. Is this a designated error?

It seems I don't know how to post an image. The missing area is inner middle right wing as you're looking at the eagle. The feather quills don't go all the way into the eagle body.

It could be several things from an error to damage.
No way of telling without clear photos of both sides.
