Jakes Coins Pillar of the Community United States 735 Posts	Posted 02/09/2022 11:48 am I wasnt questioning the authenticity of this coin until I tested it on my new sigma (everything else I own has passed) Still to me it looks authentic... Dont have access to a precise scale but it measures correct right at 30.6mm. A large distracting scratch / mark on the obverse. My guess as to grade is VF30 obverse with a XF40 reverse net Vf35 details (either scratch or cleaned). I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set \| Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better? Report this Post to the Staff

Quote: Dont have access to a precise scale Understood - and politely suggest that a scale with resolution to x.xx grams is a key tool in your collecting toolbox, think of it as a hammer for a carpenter. Such a scale can be had for very reasonable prices - way less than you paid for this Seated half, for which you lack the tools to report the weight. Just saying - go buy a scale.
