I love it that people are still finding these mid 16th c. farthing merchant tokens well into the 2020s.

Has the "ground appearance" of such a find that was turned up with a plow or similar.

This one is John Solley of Wingham, Kent
Undated but certainly 1620-1680 range or thereabouts
Obverse has a lion rampant with a star above
Reverse has his monogram S and the letters I P

Nice find!
