These Peace dollars are hard to find from the year 1921, but here is one. This coin just looks off to me though. I want to check with you guys and see if this is fake or not. Is this fake? This would probably get a f-vf grade? I need help with the grade. Any thoughts on the grade and the authenticity?

The 1921 high relief coins are graded differently from the rest of the series. Because of the high relief some of the details are not fully struck even on uncirculated examples. Most noticeable on the obverse hair details. 1921 is also the only year to have 3 rays below the "ONE" on the reverse. This has the look of genuine but you can't be sure unless you weigh it and test for silver content. If genuine I would put the grade at XF.

Just a small amendment to my statement above. There is also a variety of 1935 s which also has 3 rays below the "ONE".

I would probably pass. The surfaces look genuine but there is something about that reverse rim ...

If genuine, VF25.

VF-35 for me. Not a terrible looking coin.
