Hello my name is Danny. I was taking some pennies out of a drawer and as I was putting them on the table one of them sounded different than the others, like a copper penny. I knew that they were all Shield cents so I picked it up again and tinkle tinkle. Man I think this is copper I said. I looked online and there's a u tube video saying a graded 2013 Shield cent recently sold at auction for 23000. What do you think about the way this one looks? If it is copper what about the condition? THANKS

Danny, can you please tell us the weight of this cent? That will tell us if the planchet is copper or copper plated zinc. Surface color and ping tests aren't a great way to make that determination.
