High prices for serial numbers with five or more leading zeros is a recent phenomenon, particularly on ebay. I saw 3-digit modern $100 notes (UNC) going for over $200. I collect serial #12 and you used to be able to buy them raw for $100-$200. Now they're at least $300, and more if graded. It's nuts ! Report this Post to the Staff
