hang on to it---rare---i checked out ebay and they were selling for 200 dollars and up---depending on condition---great find---

I wouldn't call this rare, but guessing there aren't that many collectors of modern 2-digit S/N $100 circulated notes - I may be quite wrong.

Nice find. High prices for serial numbers with five or more leading zeros is a recent phenomenon, particularly on ebay. I saw 3-digit modern $100 notes (UNC) going for over $200. I collect serial #12 and you used to be able to buy them raw for $100-$200. Now they're at least $300, and more if graded. It's nuts !
