Hello all,

you can see in the photo that the Lincoln head on the coin has some inconsistencies, some kind of bump. Could it be an error?
Thank you A lot :)

One possibility that pops into my mind is that there were a couple die cracks that have long since been mostly flattened due to circulation wear. I'm interested to see what others think.

I agree with Spence. I do not see Mint error. An pre- retirement Die yes combine with major flattering circulate coin. A good spender.

Well circulated RIDB "Retained Interior Die, could be the RIDB-1c-1957-05.
