Is this "extra" cloud in the recesses in between the other two suppose to be there?

No listings for DDR on that design. Some designs won't have a DDR on the reverses. The areas to look is in the centers of the designs. Also look up the listings for that design to see if any are listed. Then you will have a clue as to where to look for the DDR's on that design. You maybe looking for something that doesn't exist. When you know what to look for, then you can save your eyes a lot more. Center of the design.

@coop, Thank you so much for the extra advice. This little treasure hunt that I am on while going through our spare change is really exciting. I wish that there was one list of pocket change known oddities that one can quickly reference to put aside for further examination. I have been jumping to a bunch of different sites that list what to look out for then have to do another search for details to debunk what I think that I see as wear marks. Being very novice to this and a complete comprehensive quick reference sheet is not available.

BTW, your videos suggested in your signature has helped me roll up 3/4 of the coins set aside for a closer look.
