This coin wighs 4.09 grams and is 19 mm in diameter. It appears to be a Timurid Silver Tanka, but I cannot make out much. What I can make out is a square within a circle on the obverse and a foil within a circle(?) on the reverse. Can anyone tell what this coin specifically is with the few details present? Any help would be much appreciated!

Based on the searching I have done, it seems similar but not identical to the Shahrukh tanka series.

Not much to go on here. The reverse is the Sunni Kalima with the names of the Rashidun in margin segments around. Identifying Islamic coins by "look" or by design elements can be a dangerous proposition. Sometimes the weight standard is helpful when the inscriptions can't be read. 4.1g is too light for a shahrukhi tanka but some lighter tankas of other rulers fall in the 4.1g range. Standards varied by both time and place. The weight is also close to the 6-dirham or 'dinar' standard of the Ilkhan period.

Thanks for the lead! Based on it, I was able to tentatively attribute it as an Ilkhanate 6 Dirham of Sulayman, A2260. However, I cannot determine the mint from what is visible on my coin. Do you agree with this attribution?

Seems reasonable. The words at the bottom of the obverse may be the mint. The date would be in the margin.

Thanks, it appears the mint is at the bottom, and my coin seems to be Shakyh Kabir (Shiraz) mint (yet again). I purchased a lot of a dozen or so coins and now that I have them all attributed they r all from Shiraz.

On the two Shaykh Kabir examples at Zeno, the mint name is at the top. I'm not sure what yours reads but you clearly have a trend with the lot.

Oh gotcha, I'll just leave this one as A2260 with uncertain mint
