I recently came across a half dollar that has 3 extra D's punched in the front and one extra on the back center. I have no idea if this is real or if someone was just playing with a D stamp and punched it themselves. If you guys could help out that would be greatly appreciated!

. Not an error, it is PMD.

Can't be a multiple mm error as the mm was part of the die and not hand punched.
Just some sort of PMD, doesn't really matter what.

Almost forgot

to the Community!

Someone playing with a letter punch tool long after it left the Mint.

Interesting find though.
