I recently came across a 1951 Wheat penny that weighed 2.72 grams, I found it about 4 months ago going through and weighing my Indian heads and wheat collections, but I somehow misplaced it for those 4 months, but found it again last night, I figured I better snap some pics and post it before it slips away again! I seen there was a 1950 Wheat penny that someone found on here, but I don't know what the outcome was to that, I also have an Indian head slightly bent weighing at 2.52 grams, I dont see any real significant damage to the coin other than the slight bend , it still has pretty decent detail, so with that in mind.....its not missing anything that should change its weight by that much, especially if its technically all there right? Its thickness is the same as other wheat Indian heads too! I wasnt sure if I should make separate postes but I thought since its basically the same question on finding underweight pennies and if they have any significant value?

The Indian Head if bent as you say, would be considered Damaged.

Thankyou for your comments, I do apologize for submitting two of the same posts, one with pics and one without,i really thought about unbending that Indian penny just to see if its possible without further damage, but its no big deal, I still have the other Wheat penny there weighing 2.70, but no one commented on that? If it was struck with a different planchet. What value would it bring for a collector...does anyone have any other past examples from similar findings? Actual outcomes after getting them graded?
