UK grade probably VG+. Nice colour, sharp lettering, lots of wear on shields and crown on reverse and on portrait of Vicky on the obverse, with the rim of the crown merging with her face. Lots of these florins are much more heavily worn with lettering merging with the rim or worn off altogether.

Harshly cleaned in the past.

The wear is uneven, her bodice is quite sharp, but the crown band is incomplete and weak. The other side shows almost no detail on the raised shields (Which is the case of 90% of these coins).

I would say gVG overall (British grading) but the cleaning makes it less desirable. Valuewise 2x melt - gothics are too nice to be melt coins unless absolutely flat. This coin has some detail, full lettering and a date which are huge plusses with this series.
