So I Ran Across This 1927 Wheat Penny Last Night, Is This PMD Or Something Else?

CCB420 Pillar of the Community United States 588 Posts	Posted 02/20/2022 11:33 am Looking through all these wheat pennies, I came across this '27 wheatie late last night. The 7 in the date looked more like a backwards check mark, rather than a 7! Upon closer examination, you can see the raised portion of where a normal 7 would be in the date, but the much lighter area, or damaged, portions of the 7 is what initially caught my eye! Then looking at the rest of the obverse, you can see some stuff that appears to be obvious PMD, but then others, not so obvious!
