Dear friends,
I was recently offered to purchase this denarius.
It is Julia Domna Denarius VENVS FELIX Alexandria Mint
What is the value of the coin in this condition? What is the rarity of the coin?
Any information on the coin is welcome.

I am no expert, pastpost, but the surfaces of the coin appear...odd. As if it had been scoured of it's natural patina. Overly aggressive (and unnecessary) cleaning? Strange look to it.

I would say around $30 'ish'?
I think the surface issues are from burial and probably some sort of chemical cleaning hence the scratches on the ob..
Just my opinion..

Have patience. You will get nicer for less money. If it were IVLIA DOMNA AVG rather thsn IVLIA AVGVSTA then it might be worth it.

When I started collecting the Alexandrian series I thought that these were rare. After a few years of collecting and having obtained many examples and turned down many others I realised it was relatively common and is in fact probably the easiest Alexandrian Domna to obtain.

Here are some that I obtained - each for less than $50, some a lot less. The better ones can demand $100+ from a dealer

The IVLIA DOMNA AVG coins are much harder to obtain though I would still consider them to be scarce and not rare.

@maridvnvm-Excellent coins. I also think that the price for one of the most common coin of this type IVLIA AVGVSTA of Julia Domna is too high. And I found a similar denarius in my collection. Is it Alexandria mint?

I don't think that Domna is a good purchase. You can get much better
