Hello!!!

I mainly collect coins but I have only been doing it for 8 months so I am still new and learning a lot everyday.

However, I have not made my way to learning about paper money just yet. So I have no idea where to start. I do like to go onto funny money serial numbers and check them to see if I come across anything worth keeping,which I have a couple but I noticed this bill immediately!!

The 3rd digit in serial number stood out so much and noticed it instantly with a naked eye.
I tried to look up some information about it but couldn't find out much and was getting frustrated.

Is this an error or something that is normal on paper money that I have not noticed before.

I am sorry for all the pictures but I made them into collages so it's not so overloading on you!! I wanted to show all the details I saw when I looked into my microscope.

Thank you so much!

AshleyG,
As with posting photos of coins, start out with two or three photos. If we need more, we will ask you to post what we need to see. I see nothing out of the ordinary with the over inked zero. coming up, contest time

@John1

So the first zeros in both serial numbers are normal?

First off, put your microscope away. I've collected paper money for a couple of decades and have only occasionally used a magnifying glass.

There's slight over inking on one serial number of one of your notes. No big deal. It happens from time to time and as you mentioned, is visible with the naked eye. I believe it's within BEP tolerances and although not common, it's not rare nor considered an error.
