Since I was going with a PCGS collection and having done a lot of homework on the subject, I decided to crack all my coins not from PCGS and submit raw. Some good some bad results, I will post a few each day. Guess the result?

Well I don't believe your going to get any better than PCI 's grade of MS-63RB or BN .
keep cracking and you'll be in the poor house some day .

No crack for me but I am out of coins graded by other companies. Sent 10 in from everyone but PCGS. At 22 dollars a pop plus 37.50 call it 45 after mailing. Just the 1926-d which hadn't been graded pulled me back to even and one upgraded so that put me ahead. My only LCD told me 20 years ago that most older coins may stay stagnant price wise for a long time but but will almost never drop in price or very little value wise. I have been tracking the coins I am interested in (not intensely) but each one has gone up in value since I started collecting twenty years ago. Altogether the coins I bought slabbed years ago have now become 4 times as valuable as what I paid for them now that they are in PCGS holders. Too many of my close friends have died in the last two years , I now say "F" it I am going to live now not later. I am 62 , really how many good years I have left? Appreciate your help as always. grade reduced most likely due to obv strike. there appears to be some minor scratches, marks on but sides but the lighting is a little dark so the surfaces are not actually showing what the coin looks like. better photos would help but the coin may be graded correctly. personally i'd call it 64RB

How you guys can grade from those pics, which show no surface detail at all, is beyond me.

Just going by the pictures PCGS missed the mark on this one IMO. The must have not like the luster and unevenness of the brown in the fields.
