Hi, I stop today to this Lincoln

1. Seem to me the D is like ghost or to polish Die

2. The FG do not fit wit any design of 2007 series. Joking I say F (the father) give to much to eat to G (the girl) and become fat.

3. First and second columns from left side not really same with the design.

4. To me seem that the VDB it is DD.

Your chime and opinion please. This it is not my expertise.

Well... for starters on your VDB images, they appear to be the same image. The one on the right is just upside down. (The dark spot is evident on both images.)

We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

I see a spendable coin. No ghost D,looks like PMD.
FG looks normal being circulated.
Columns look normal, first column is meant to look 3D.
VDB looks like MD.

I agree with John.

VDB is incuse and MD makes incuse design elements look thicker.
I see this MD a lot on the incuse elements (letters and date) of US quarters.

Looks like a stain. The VDB is incuse on the coin. (thus raised on the die) The slightest Machine Doubling is caused by the raised devices on the die. Just like the same issue as the ATB Quarter incuse devices.

Machine Doubling on that area.

Thank all. I learn day by day those DD and MD's complexity and how it work. One day hope to know also those branches of the of the varieties and errors. For me the mint production the metal and the design variety seem to be much more easy. I will keep this coin for my own educational example and purpose.

Thanks
