Hi Leveral, of course, this is the link:
http://goccf.com/t/158182Here is my setup. I use a Canon EOS 77D which is probably about $400 or $500 to buy but I do a lot of wildlife photography also. You can use a much cheaper camera as long as it is above 12mpx and can fit a focusing helicoid to it. You'll find all the details in that thread, but I fit a focusing helicoid to the camera with an adaptor, (this is a manual focussing ring) and connected to the focusing helicoid is an El Nikkor magnifying lens 70mm I believe. In between that, to change the size of the photo depending on what size coin you are photographing I use extenders which are quite cheap I think you can find them on
ebay or
Amazon. When taking photos, it helps to use two light sources with maybe tissue paper as a diffuser but again all information about lighting is in the thread I believe. Lighting is a big part of the photography, and it can be quite tricky, but it's fun to play about with it all.
With the el nikkor magnifying lens, the aperture is manual. I use F8 for larger coins and F5 for flatter coins. The higher the relief the coin is (thicker) the higher F number you will need.
I balance coins on a flat piece of wood which is about 5cm long, just so the background goes blurry and it really helps for the coin to be in focus.
If you have any questions I'm happy to help! I'm not at all an expert on it, I've just done a lot of experimenting.
