A large bead that is worn and scratched with possible cleaning. Worth bullion value.
There were nearly 10 million minted so they have to be in MS condition for any premium.

Clearly circulated, and clearly cleaned. Agree, just worth melt value.

Darn, was hoping small bead atleast. Cleaned, oh man you should see the 1922 American one, it must be cleaned also because compared to the other 2 that I have it is like #127769; and day.
I cringe now to think that when I was little I polished all of my mom's coins Thanks!

Seems to seen some heavy wear, although hard to imagine this piece bouncing around in someones pocket. Also looks aggressively cleaned, maybe VF condition overall.

I agree with @ijn1944. This coin is not going to be the centrepiece of a collection but the Canadian dollar 1935 - 87 is truly splendid. Obviously the pre-1968 silver issues are superior but the nickel ones that came after are also magnificent. It's a (possibly fanciful) image of harmony between early settlers and our indigenous population, and it celebrates the romance of early exploration by the voyageurs through our crazy landscape. I love the heavy snow on the fir trees and the northern lights. And there's George V, VI and Elizabeth when they all still meant something.
