Looking at the Three Cent coins again, wondering what y'all think the grade is. Also I noticed some marks on the top right of obverse, can't tell if that's circulated or scratched from cleaning. What do y'all think? Pictures from seller.

VG8 details.

looks like the scratches are from general circulation. inspect the coin closely as there are some areas on the obv that appear to be damage. "T" in states, right side of star. it could be from shadows, grime or discoloration. hold the coin flat to see if those areas are dented in.

IMO it's a straight AG-03.
The rim is worn into the lettering on the obverse.
