G'Day again, Just noodled this coin and have not seen one like it before.
It has got raised 'bubble like' features which are in sort of a straight line.

Hard to photograph. The reverse is normal.
What do you think has caused this and have you seen one similar?

Might be a bubble in the planchet.
When heated in the minting process it expands.

On coins of pretty much any other country, it'd be dismissed as corrosion bubbles forming underneath the nickel plating. But Australian coins are still solid cupronickel, not plated.

The gas bubble theory is as good as any, though I'd expect to see some other evidence of extreme heating (discolouration, rippling, rim damage, etc).
