Bought a lot of coins and I'm thinking this is a 1884 c1 portrait. Can this be graded with his photo? Iam at vg 20. What you guys think? Thanks in advance.

Is it an '84? It's an Obv 1, but always show the neck truncation (point) where it meets the bead to know the Obv for sure. Without better photos, I'd say VF-20 maybe 20+. If it's an '64, it's a keepr for sure and all the rest of the coins are for free.

Sorry it's the best picture I can get. It's a c1 for sure look at long serif in Regina. Are the 84 c1 the only ones with this type of n or I'm I get my hopes to high?
Thanks okie for chiming in

No way to grade accurately from this partial obverse photo. Full pics of both sides needed.

I don't think the obverse photo and reverse photo are of the same coin. I found the lot of 16 coins in the sold ebay listings and it looks like the obverse photo is of an 1881. The foot of the N is not as thick as the one on the 1884. I think the appearance of extra length on the foot is from the photos not being clear. I hope for your sake I am wrong, but that's what it looks like to me.

I'm with Phil on this, as it looked like different coins to me as well. That's why I asked if it was an '84. There are other dates in your post.

Okie and Phil you guys where correct ,what looked like a longer serif was on the 1881. Saving grace here is the other 81 was a spur on the n in Regina so not a great loss. Thanks for your input

That "spur N" is fairly hard to find. Good purchase.
