Hey Everyone,
This question largely has to do with error naming semantics. I found a 1998 quarter with what appears to be a die chip between the Q and the rim of the coin. Since this chip includes the rim does it automatically make this a Cud? I didn't see this error attributed on cuds-on-coins and I find it somewhat hard to believe I would be the first person to find a new Cud on a 24 year old coin.

Thanks for the help!

looks like a Cud to me. looks like it is raised on the rim too (is what I like to see)

there is always a first for everyone... I remember the first time wetting my pants.

Thanks for taking a look. I reached out to JC at Cuds on Coins with some images and the Cud is now attributed on the website as CU-25c-1998P-01R!
