1998 P Quarter With Cud Or Die Chip?

CRHunting Valued Member United States 172 Posts	Posted 03/28/2022 11:06 am Hey Everyone, This question largely has to do with error naming semantics. I found a 1998 quarter with what appears to be a die chip between the Q and the rim of the coin. Since this chip includes the rim does it automatically make this a Cud? I didn't see this error attributed on cuds-on-coins and I find it somewhat hard to believe I would be the first person to find a new Cud on a 24 year old coin. Thanks for the help!
