Hello guys still pretty new at the coin collecting lol so if ya could bare with me .
I have 2 dimes hoping someone can help me one is missing I and M in dime and the other has like something goong the whole way around rim, did this happen after they were minted or ? I know there not the best of shape I'm just curious as to whats going on TY IN ADVANCE

. One coin per thread is best,full coin photo front and back of each coin and one or two close ups where and when needed.Edge shot of the 1974 as well.The missing letters mught be a Grease Filled Die issue.

The 1985 does appear to be an nice example of a Grease-Filled Die — maybe keep in a 2x2 for reference, despite not carrying much of a premium.

Full picture of the obverse and reverse of the 1985 would help. A edge picture of the 1974 might help as I see both have issues around the rim area.
