Just joined this community. I used to collect Australian proof sets when I was a teen in the early 1980's but have been living in the US for the past 8 years. I have started to become interested in collecting again, although I am ashamed to admit, I still get confused between nickels and dimes !
Hi T-BOP, I guess it's just the different size relative to the denomination. After 8 years in the US, I still have to ask my wife "is this worth 5 cents or 10 cents' ? ... bit of a running joke in my family.
