Does anyone know what will be included in the new two volume 7070 due out this summer? It's never too early to start saving coins for a new album!

I have not heard about a new version and quite frankly, I see no need for one as the current one is perfectly adequate. Sure, a few older coins could be added but most of those get quite pricey so they can stay out(I have no desire to ever spend $1000+ for a funky low grade Bust dollar). Also, before anyone mentions Prez dollars, Territory quarters and the like, remember that the 7070 is a 19th and 20th century type album- 21st century coins not allowed

My info was from the Tradewinds Dansco albums page- it announces a new two volume 7070 due out this summer. Maybe they are changing it to a 19th, 20th and 21st century type set album.

I don't plan to get one. If it is to include the 21st Century than I have zero interest. There are some 20th Century Gold coins that weren't in the old one, like the American Eagles 1/10, 1/4, 1/2, and one ounce, not to mention the platinum. But why include bullion coins? I also agree that adding some earlier types like draped bust silver, Heraldic Eagle Reverses, and bust dollars will just make the set impossible to finish, except for the very few that are wealthy. It is also a very bad idea to split this collection into two albums. In one album it makes a beautiful presentation when complete with upper grade coins. I can only hope they give this thing a new number and continue to make the old one. The 7070 has been there best seller of all time and still generates tremendous interest.

This two volume version needs to be issued as a 7071 and a 7072. As far as I know, those two numbers are available.

So with no corporate website, how do we relay our suggestions to Dansco?
