Have come to standstill with this one. Maybe Malwa?

Weight = 10.47g
Diameter = 19.5-19.8mm
Material = Cu (but possibly low grade Billon)

This one was issued by Islam Shah, Sultans of Delhi dated AH959. D1055.
Mintless type - possibly struck in Malwa.

Thanks Andy. That's a big help. Seems it's a 2 Takka. How sure are you that it's 959? I can make out (If I'm correct)the last digit 9, but the second numeral is partly off the flan. Other examples from the time seem to be using the round 5. Ta.

sorry, it's AH960
There are only two dates according G&G - 959 and 960.
G&G says this is a Paisa.

Ah, good old G&G. Having read your post and had so many other posts referencing G&G I finally pulled the trigger and bought a 2022 Reprint for 105USD. Still, cheaper than 280-500USD for the 2001 edition.

More I got wrong yesterday - it's a ½ Paisa D1056. I'll get there eventually :)
