Here's some relatively bad pictures after being slabbed. Dark areas in the center of the pictures is a reflection of the camera lens. The dot is still on the obverse but it's now black as opposed to green. The haze that covered the coin is now gone. These pictures don't do the coin justice.

I wonder what they do to "conserve" the coin.

I'm willing to bet they will for sure straight grade it after their work, but if others had done it, sent it in for grading and they noticed any remnants they would details the coin.
